Tectone announces his upcoming podcast episode featuring Asmongold, Chibi Reviews, and more. Says it will be “very controversial.”
Popular streamer and former OTK member John “Tectone” has announced his upcoming podcast episode. The episode will feature streamers including Asmongold, NicholasLight, and Chibi Reviews. He has also announced that it will be a very “controversial” episode. Tectone recently featured several guests on the podcast. He later uploaded the podcast episode on YouTube, titled “I Asked the Most Hated Creators About Their Favorite Anime.”
While the date for the upcoming episode has not been announced yet, it will be released in a few days. Tectone’s podcast was hosted on Discord, with around six people on the call.

Tectone is a popular streamer on Twitch who recently made headlines after accusations surfaced against him. He boasts a following of 951K followers on the purple platform and over 809K subscribers on YouTube. The streamer joined OTK in 2021 and was a significant member of the organization until 2024. John once again made headlines in February 2025 after he called out fellow streamer Frogan. He initially made content surrounding the popular game Genshin Impact. However, John has shifted his content to include more variety.
Confirmed Guests To Appear on Tectone’s Podcast
Tectone announced that a few guests from the first episode of the podcast would be returning for the second episode. Controversial streamer Chibi Reviews was also confirmed by the streamer. For those unaware, Chibi was accused by his ex-girlfriend of abuse and taking advantage of her in November 2024. The streamer was also under fire for certain opinions regarding anime translations.
Another controversial personality on the upcoming podcast will be Asmongold, who is currently one of the top streamers on the platform. Asmon made several headlines for his shift in content from gaming to more politics-related commentary. He was also under fire after he made problematic comments on the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. After a user asked Tectone if Asmongold was invited, the streamer confirmed that he was invited alongside popular YouTuber Rev Says Desu.
