Revealed at EVO 2025, Miary Zo is a new character in Tekken 8 who enters the King of the Iron Fist Tournament on December 2, 2025. She is the last fighter to be added to the Season 2 Pass. Her fighting style is based on Madagascan and other African martial arts, as well as animal movements.

Expect to see moves that duck and weave under attacks and punish back with high damage. In the trailer, Miary can be seen summoning a spirit staff and a snake gauntlet to assist her in fights.

Miary’s moves take influences from Madagascan fighting styles like Morengy and other African martial arts like Dambe. She also uses movements that she learned from observing animals. Miary Zo’s powers come from the Fighting God, which allows her to use a staff, tail, and snakes to attack her opponents.

Moreover, her fighting style is likely to be a combination of slippery attacks to confuse the opponents.

Miary Zo is a Madagascan who views her opponents not as nemeses but rather as BFFs, or Battle Friends Forever. She deeply cares about nature and animals and is seen travelling around with two ring-tailed lemurs, Vanilla and Cacao. Moreover, Miary is said to be a reincarnation of the Silver Fighting God known in the Madagascan legend. Miary also has a special character intro with Zafina where they clash their opposing powers.

The final Tekken 8 Season 2 DLC stage, which will be added to the game alongside Miary Zo’s release, is called Baobab Horizon. This stage is based on her home country of Madagascar. However, Baobab Horizon doesn’t appear to have any stage transitions, such as floor or balcony breaks. Instead of stage gimmicks, it has a day and night cycle as the rounds progress.
