NFL quarterback Bryce Young appeared on Twitch streamer Erobb221’s broadcast and found out what “CLM” means.
Carolina Panthers football quarterback Bryce Young appeared on Twitch streamer Eric “Erobb221” Robbins’ stream on February 5, 2025. Erobb’s Twitch chatters kept bringing up “CLM” which confused Young. The player hesitantly asked the streamer and immediately regretted it.
CLM refers to “cu*k lives matter,” and it is frequently used in Erobb221’s community. The term is used in support of people whose partners are sexually unfaithful. People use CLM in Erobb’s community as a reference to all of Erobb’s audience members.
Erobb221 is popular Twitch streamer Tyler “loltyler1” Steinkamp’s brother. He started creating competitive gaming content in 2017 before transitioning to casual games and Just Chatting streams. With over 477,000 followers on Twitch, Erobb221 is one of the biggest Just Chatting streamers on the platform.
Bryce Young’s Awkward Conversation With Erobb221
During Erobb221’s livestream with Bryce Young, the NFL player asked if he could join Erobb’s community. When Young asked the question, people in the streamer’s chat started spamming “CLM”. The player didn’t understand what the term meant, and he asked Erobb:
“What’s the community?”
Young thought that CLM was Erobb’s community’s name, but Erobb told him that he called his viewers “Erobbers”. After realizing why Young was confused, the streamer said:
“It means (CLM) means cu*k lives matter.”

The quarterback laughed at Erobb’s response and said:
“That’s why I was scared to ask you. That’s what I was…I knew I was…something told me deep down, don’t ask. There’s something about that one.”
Despite the awkward moment, Erobb221 welcomed Young to his community and said the player could be part of the Erobbers community. Young and Erobb are competing in the latest Twitch Rivals event as part of the NFL’s Super Bowl promotions.
How Did the CLM Gag Originate in Erobb’s Chat?
The CLM gag in Erobb221’s chat originated as a reference to the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. BLM is an anti-racism movement that originated in 2014, but it gained widespread popularity in 2020 after the murder of an individual named George Floyd. After BLM protests went viral Erobb’s chat started using the CLM term as a joke.
The BLM symbol features a closed fist and a circle. Erobb’s community parodies the BLM symbol using the lemon and closed fist emojis. Many of the streamer’s fans shout “cu*k lives matter” when they interact with him in person. In one of Erobb’s most viral clips, someone traced his location at a restaurant and yelled the CLM tag while the streamer was ordering food.
The CLM gag is meant to be a joke and is not dismissive of the BLM movement and its struggles. Erobb calls himself the leader of the CLM movement and his chat greets all new and returning subscribers with the CLM emojis.
