The Precinct: How To Unlock All Weapons

You will play as a rookie cop in The Precinct, have to regularly put yourself in harm’s way in the line of duty. While some suspects will adhere to your orders peacefully, others might not be as obedient. Some criminals will brandish weapons that they might use against you. In such cases, access to your own weapons if you want to remain safe. Also, your weapons can help bring the situation under control without the suspect causing harm to you or innocent bystanders.

However, not all weapons in the game will be available to you from the start. In this guide, we’ll explain how you can unlock all weapons in The Precinct.

How Do Weapons Unlock in The Precinct?

You start the game off with only the basic .38 Police Special Revolver, a baton, and a Stun Gun. However, as you progress into the game, you’ll face off against more serious threats where these weapons won’t be of much use. You don’t need to do anything special to unlock the other weapons in the game. Instead, they’ll unlock automatically as and when you earn enough XP to reach certain specific ranks.

Apart from the three weapons that you begin with, you can unlock eight others throughout your playthrough. The following is a list of the weapons and the rank at which they unlock:

• PS-12 Masterkey Shotgun unlocks at Recruit II
• Cantius Rifle unlocks at Police Officer III
• ARM-16 Automatic Rifle unlocks at Police Officer V
• 37-PAS Shotgun unlocks at Police Officer VII
• Stallion .45 Pistol unlocks at Police Officer IX
• GAL 9MM SMG unlocks at Police Officer XI
• SV-47 Assault Rifle unlocks at Police Officer XIII
• V80 MP Submachine Gun unlocks at Police Officer XVIII

How To Swap Weapons in The Precinct

After you unlock all weapons in The Precinct, you can then change which weapons you want to carry. By default, you can carry one primary weapon alongside a secondary gun. However, you can unlock a third holster space by investing in the correct skill upgrades. The game allows you to choose which weapons you want to carry in the following ways:

• You can choose the weapons before your shift begins by going to the armory in the Police Station.
• If you need to swap weapons in the middle of your shift, you can open up the trunk of your car and do so. You can also refill ammo by interacting with the car’s trunk.
