Titan Quest 2 is an ARPG that removes all the fluff newer games in the genre have, instead focusing entirely on building the best possible builds. There’s a ton of freedom when it comes to creating new builds in the game, and the possibilities should be endless as the game receives more content throughout Early Access.

While optimizing builds often focuses on maximizing damage, defense remains an important part of your character’s foundation. You can also use status effects and ailments to deal extra damage to enemies, giving you the edge in difficult fights.

Regardless of what you focus on, knowledge and incorporation of status effects and ailments remain a crucial part of any Titan Quest 2 build. If you’re unfamiliar with what these effects and ailments are, our guide is here to help.
