Titan Quest 2 is all about relishing in the power fantasy, and the game allows you to do so with an assortment of skills on offer. Each Mastery has powerful skills, and each skill helps you deal with combat scenarios in different ways. If you’re being overwhelmed by mobs, you need to use AOE skills, and very few compare to the Warfare Mastery’s Sweeping Strike skill.

The Sweeping Strike sees you spinning and performing a 360-degree slash with your blade. This allows you to clear out entire mobs in one spin, making it one of the strongest AOE attacks for the Warfare Mastery. If that wasn’t enough, you can make this skill even stronger with various modifications.

The Sweeping Strike skill has ten modifications you can pick from, which is likely to induce decision paralysis. Thankfully, we’re here to help. In this article, we’ve picked out the best modifications to get for the Sweeping Strike in Titan Quest 2.

Lasting Sweep

Do you feel that a single 360-degree slash isn’t enough? Well, then the Lasting Sweep is the perfect modification for you. What this modification does is that it creates a whirlwind around you after the initial slash. The whirlwind deals 10 percent weapon damage every 0.25 seconds for 2.5 seconds, making it the perfect follow-up to the Sweeping Strike. Stack this up three times and watch enemies melt before you.

Deadly Reach

The Deadly Reach is a Sweeping Strike modification that increases the damage of the edge of your Sweeping Strike. This means that all enemies that catch the edge of the blade take 20 percent more damage. Since you can stack this up five times, you’re looking at a total of 100 percent damage increase, which is absolutely absurd when you consider that the Sweeping Strike is excellent on its own anyway.

Sunder

Another modification we’d recommend picking up is the Sunder modification. This modification slows enemies down by 6 percent, while also cutting their armor down by 68 for 3.0 seconds. This means that the enemies are slow AND take more damage. If you’re using any of the aforementioned modifications, the Sunder modification synergizes with them perfectly and lets you finish off even the toughest enemies with ease.
