Titan Quest 2 is an ARPG set in the mythological world, where players embark on a journey to stop the Goddess of Retribution, Nemesis. Since combat plays a crucial role in your journey, character building becomes essential. Unlike the traditional class selection system,  Titan Quest 2 handles the system differently. Instead of selecting your class from the character selection screen, you can choose your Mastery (class) during the prologue.

As you progress towards the early quests like The Hunt Begins, interacting with ancient shrines allows you to receive the blessing of a divine mystery. These shrines let you choose your Mastery, and you will encounter two different shrines to select both of your Masteries. But can you switch your Masteries mid-game? Unfortunately, the answer is no. At the time of writing, changing your chosen Mastery in Quest 2 is not possible.

You Cannot Change Your Masteries in Titan Quest 2

The early access version of Titan Quest 2 allows you to choose from four different Masteries: Earth, Rogue, Storm, and Warfare. Before locking your choice, you can preview the entire skill tree to evaluate each Mastery’s skillsets.

Once you have finalized your two Masteries, you are locked into them for the rest of the game. If you want to try out other Masteries, you will need to create a new character. Each Mastery offers different playstyles, allowing you to mix and match various abilities to create unique builds.

Although you cannot switch your Masteries, you can respec your skill points and attributes in Titan Quest 2. To respec your skill points, you need to head to the Mastery menu and select the Respec Mode option. This lets you add and subtract skill points for a gold fee based on the changes you make. For a full attribute reset, you can visit Ritual Shrines and offer gold at the Rituals of Athena.
