Flow is a stacking resource in Titan Quest 2, similar to Overwhelm. These resources do not have effects on their own, but can be used to fuel other skills to enhance attacks. The Flow can be gained by certain abilities and Flow-specific modifiers, while others consume the stacked resource to unleash powerful effects.

How To Gain Flow

You can add Gain Flow modifiers to your Primary Attack, which offers a 20% chance to gain Flow on hit. Additionally, adding the Flow Gain modifier on skills like Lethal Strike, Vanish, and Flicker lets you build stacks. Here is how it works:

  • Lethal Strike: Killing a marked target gains Flow (Requires Mark Focus Modifier).
  • Vanish: Gain Flow on use
  • Flicker: Gain Flow by hitting your marked target.

How To Use Flow

Once you have stacked enough Flow, you can use it to enhance your Flow-specific skills. Using the skills during combat consumes Flow and activates specific buffs, usually increasing your damage output. Adding Flow-specific modifiers like Flow Spender and Consume Flow on certain skills, like Mark for Death and Rain of Arrows, allows you to utilize the mechanic. Here is how it works:

  • Mark for Death (Flow Spender): Consumes Flow and hits the target with 4 Shadow Daggers.
  • Grenade (Flow Spender): Consumes Flow and launches 1 Projectile.
  • Barrage (Consume Flow): Consumes Flow and deals 50% more damage.
  • Rain of Arrows (Consume Flow): Consumes Flow and deals 50% more damage.
  • Lethal Strike: Consumes Flow innately and deals 25% more damage.

Since Flow and Overwhelm are both stacking resources, Consume Flow modifiers cannot be used with an active Consume Overwhelm modifier.
