Glancing Hit is a defensive stat that has a chance to reduce the incoming damage from enemies’ attacks and skills. If successful, it reduces damage by 50%, making it the most valuable defensive stat in the game. It is divided into two types: Glancing Melee Hit and Glancing Projectile Hit.

As you will often be swarmed by a large group of enemies, the Glancing Hit can drastically improve your survivability. In addition to incoming damage reduction, it also significantly lessens the offensive effects of incoming attacks. The Glancing Hit stat automatically takes effect when you take damage (melee or projectile) based on your Glancing Hit chance percentage.

How To Improve Glancing Hit Chance in Titan Quest 2

Because of its importance in combat, increasing your Glancing Hit chance makes it more likely to trigger frequently. You can boost the Glancing Hit stat by equipping certain heavy armor, as well as active and passive skills for different classes.

While heavy armors like Heavy Bracers and Heavy Greaves increase the Glancing Projectile Hit Chance by +6, the Hipparch Pauldrons increase the chance by +8. Additionally, skills like Nimble Defense and Storm Protection also enhance your Glancing Hit chance.
