This guide explains how to complete the Defend the Enclave quest in Titan Quest 2, where you will fight alongside the defenders to protect their land.
Titan Quest 2 is set in a Greek mythology-inspired world, where players’ ultimate goal is to end the reign of the Goddess of Retribution, Nemesis. While you progress through the main storyline, you will encounter various side quests, known as World Quests.
Quests like ‘Fate Remembered’ explore an in-game mechanic, while most other quests require you to aid NPCs worldwide. Defend the Enclave is one such quest, where you will be helping a Militia commander defending a region from enemy forces.
It is an out-and-out combat-centred quest, where you will support the Enclave’s defenders in fending off the Ichthian army. As you will be dealing with waves of tough enemies, make sure you are well-prepared with strong gear. Let’s break down how to start and complete the Defend the Enclave Quest in Titan Quest 2.

Defend the Enclave Quest Guide in Titan Quest 2
Defend the Enclave quest triggers as you explore The Enclave region within the Flooded Farmlands. You can start the quest by approaching either the southwest gate or the southeast gate of The Enclave. While you can reach the southwest gate from Western Flooded Farmlands, the southeast gate can be accessed from the Eastern Flooded Farmlands.
As you approach either gate, you will find that the Enclave defenders are battling Ichthian armies. Join the Militia Captain and help clear the area of foes. Once you defend a gate, report to Linus, the Militia Pentekonter. You can find Linus directly east of the Rebirth Waypoint.
After the conversation, head to the other gate and clear the Ichthian armies there. You will encounter various level 12 enemies at both gates, including Ichthian – Master Hydromancer, Ichthian – Hydromancer, Ichthian – Guardian, Ichthian – Alchemist, and Ichthian – Mancatcher. Once you defend both gates, return to Linus at the Enclave and report to complete the quest.
