In this guide, we’ll explore how you can start and complete the Crabs’ Nest quest in Titan Quest 2, which is one of the World Quests.
Titan Quests 2 offers a wide variety of content even in its current Early Access phase. With plenty of quests to attempt and clear, players should stay busy for quite some time. Some of them are campaign missions, crucial to progressing the main story. Others are optional side missions, known as World Quests.
Although you can choose to ignore these, we suggest taking your time to complete them as well. Most of the World Quests reward you with a hefty amount of XP upon completion or additional items that might be of value. One of the World Quests in the game is dubbed the Crabs’ Nest. In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can start and complete the Crabs’ Nest quest in Titan Quest 2.
How To Start the Crabs’ Nest Quest in Titan Quest 2
To begin the quest, you’ll need to head to the Crabs’ Nest location, which is in the extreme eastern part of the Eastern Flooded Farmlands area. However, make sure you are prepared for a tough fight, as you will run into an elite boss in this zone. You should be around level 15 when you decide to attempt the quest. Any lower, and you might face a considerable challenge during the upcoming fights.
The goal of the mission is to eliminate the crabs and their eggs in the region. Eventually, you’ll face off against the Mother Crab, which is the elite boss we spoke of earlier.

How To Complete the Crabs’ Nest Quest in Titan Quest 2
As soon as you reach the Crabs’ Nest entrance, you’ll have to fight against a few crabs. Kill them all and then proceed inside the nest. As you move toward the central part of the nest, you will come across egg clusters that you need to destroy. As you destroy each cluster, more crabs will emerge and attack you. Make sure you continue the onslaught against the crabs and the eggs.
After a point, you will have destroyed and eliminated all of the crabs and the egg clusters in the nest. That’s when the Mother Crab will emerge. This is a level 13 Elite Boss. She can unleash both melee attacks and step back to fire off an AoE water range attack. These ranged attacks can come in the form of three water jet sprays in the shape of a fan. Or, she might burrow into the ground and unleash a water jet spray attack from underneath, which will cause AoE damage.
To make matters tougher, a bunch of smaller crabs will also spawn alongside her. These crabs can overwhelm you completely if all of your focus is on the Mother Crab. We suggest taking out the smaller members first and then proceeding to attack the boss while she’s all alone. Make sure to dodge her attacks and wait for openings to spring a counterattack.
After defeating the boss and all other crabs, pick up the Iridescent Crab Shell. Now, use the Rebirth Waypoint to reach the Enclave. From there, head east to find the NPC named Pentekonter Linus and speak with him about the nest’s destruction. Next, speak with the Quartermaster standing beside Linus to complete this quest. You will receive 301 Gold and 3223 XP for the quest completion.
