In Titan Quest 2, players fight their way to stop Nemesis, Goddess of Retribution, in a Greek mythology-inspired world. The Hunt Begins is the first Fated Quest you will encounter in the Titan Quest 2 early access. It serves as the beginning of the Grphon hunt, aiding your mentor, Aristonoe. As you start on the Proti Island, you will find Aristonoe as you proceed with the main path. While she examines a carcass, interact with her to learn about the Grphon, which initiates ‘The Hunt Begins’ quest. The Hunt Begins Quest Walkthrough in Titan Quest 2
1) Entering the Mysterious Cave
After your conversation with Aristonoe, follow her to reach the Mysterious Cave. On the way across the beach, you will be ambushed by a swarm of crabs. After defeating them, continue along until you find a door next to the ruined structures. Once the area is cleared, Aristonoe will interact with the door and open the way to the Mysterious Cave.
2) Getting to the Ancient Shrine
As you enter the Mysterious Cave, you will find yourself surrounded by an army of skeletons and bats. After defeating them, continue along until you reach another locked door. As you defeat the undead guardians, Aristonoe will unlock the door, making way forward. Keep going along the path to reach the Ancient Shrine.
3) Receiving the Blessing
As you approach the shrine, talk with Aristonoe. After the conversation, approach the altar to receive the blessing of the divine mystery. This allows you to choose your first Mastery: Earth, Rogue, Storm, and Warfare. After selecting the Mastery, talk with Aristonoe again to complete the quest. This will also begin the next quest, ‘The Queen of the Mountain’.
