Find out how you can acquire and use Remnants in Titan Quest 2, a special material that allows you to respawn and farm bosses effectively.

Titan Quest 2 is now available in early access for PC via Steam and Epic Games. Levelling up your character is essential for dealing with more difficult enemies and bosses. In early access, the max level cap for all characters is set to 40, meaning leveling up beyond that point is not possible, at least for now. Defeating enemies over and over is a great way to farm XP and level up.
But did you know the sequel to the acclaimed ARPG also allows you to farm bosses? Titan Quest 2 lets players revive bosses and fight them repeatedly with a unique mechanic called ‘Remnants.’ Here is how you can get and use the Remnants in Titan Quest 2 to farm bosses.

How To Acquire Remnants in Titan Quest 2

Remnants are obtained by defeating bosses in Titan Quest 2. These Remnants appear in maroon color and drop the first time you defeat specific bosses. However, not all bosses drop Remnants, as you can only get the material from certain ones like Hippokampos, Aristomenes, Pan, and Dysepilogos. For instance, defeating Hippokampos drops a maroon-colored item called Hippokampos Vertebra, which is the corresponding Remnant for the boss. You can then use the Remnant at a Ritual Shrine to respawn the boss.
How To Use Remnants in Titan Quest 2
To respawn bosses, you need to take their Remnants to a Ritual Shrine. You can find a shrine in the northern part of Pyrgos. Interact with the shrine and offer the Remnant at the Rituals of Ares, which activates the summoning.
Once activated, head to the boss area. You will find a glowing golden chalice at the front of the arena. Interact with it and pay a small amount of gold. This revives the boss and allows you to fight another round with them. In this way, you can respawn and fight bosses, farming them effectively for XP and valuable rewards.
