Titan Quest 2 is an ARPG, and there is nothing ARPG fans love more than the damage numbers going up. The game throws large mobs of enemies at you, and dealing with them efficiently requires you to deal heavy damage.

All the builds you create in Titan Quest 2 work towards maximising your damage output, but if you’re just starting, this can be a fair bit complicated. The game doesn’t really tell you how to increase your damage, and if you don’t figure it out quickly, you’ll hit a roadblock sooner rather than later. If you still haven’t figured out how to increase your damage in Titan Quest 2, this guide should be of help.

Switch Weapons

There are a multitude of ways to increase your damage in Titan Quest 2, but the most efficient way to do so is to simply switch weapons. You’ll find tons of loot while playing the game, and a lot of the loot you’ll find will have better stats than the weapon you’re using. If you stumble across such a weapon, make sure to equip it immediately. Also, make sure that the weapon you switch to is close to the level of your character as well.

Use Modifiers and Passives

As you go about leveling up in the game, you’ll be able to invest points into various skills. The Active skills help you unlock moves and abilities, and you can then make said moves and abilities stronger with modifiers. Modifiers can change the way the move works, and can outright make it stronger. Similarly, Passive skills, too, can help you increase your damage output a few percent at a time.

Equip the Right Gear

The last way to increase your damage is to simply wear the right gear. Having the right weapon is only half of the equation, and the other half comes in the armor, rings, and necklaces you wear. Each of these comes with passive buffs, so we recommend looking into these buffs and wearing the ones that complement your playstyle.
