In this guide, we’ll explore how you can Respec skills in Titan Quest 2, allowing you to distribute your skill points differently.

Titan Quest 2 is an RPG, and like other games in this genre, you’ll have to earn and spend skill points to build your character’s abilities and skills. The game features expansive skill trees for each of its three Masteries, allowing you to create the builds you prefer. However, along the way, you might find skills or branches that you’d invest in rather than the ones you already have.
In those instances, you might want to Respec skills in Titan Quest 2 to optimize your build further. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can Respec skills easily to get the builds you prefer.
How Can You Respec Skills in Titan Quest 2?

Whenever you gain a level in the game, you will earn Active, Passive, and Attribute Points. You can spend these as you want to unlock new active or passive skills. Later on in the game, you will also unlock Divinity Points that’ll help you unlock the higher tiers of your Mastery skill trees. By default, these will remain locked, and you will only be able to invest your skill points in the lower-tiered skills within a tree at first.
After you have invested a few points into the Active and Passive skills, you might change your mind and want to distribute those points differently. This is where the Respec skill feature becomes handy. The game allows you to Respec easily at any time by simply clicking on the Respec Mode on the bottom right-hand side of your skill tree screen. After clicking it, you can move around and redistribute your skill points freely.
However, every time you shift one of the assigned points, you’ll need to spend gold for the fresh allocation. After you’re done respeccing, you’ll be able to see the total amount of gold you have to spend to go through with the redistribution of points. The final amount depends on how many of the assigned points you shifted to a different skill.

Can You Reassign Masteries in Titan Quest 2?
While you can easily Respec in Titan Quest 2, there doesn’t seem to be any way at present to change your Masteries once you’ve chosen them. This could be a feature that’s added to the game somewhere down the line when it comes out of Early Access. However, seeing as how the first game in the series didn’t allow you to change Masteries midway through either, we’d expect the same to hold true this time around.
