In this guide, we shall go over how to save your game in Titan Quest 2, so you never have to worry about losing your progress.

In an age where ARPGs have put their foot on the accelerator and sped things up, Titan Quest 2 slows things down and makes combat more deliberate. Every strike must be precise, and every ounce of energy used must have a lot of thought put into it.
Titan Quest 2’s slower pace makes the combat more enjoyable, but it also makes it difficult. You may be slower and more deliberate, but your enemies rarely are. You’ll die plenty in this game, and saving becomes a crucial means to keep your progress up to par.
The issue, however, is that Titan Quest 2 doesn’t really tell you how to save. There’s no designated save button in the menus, which only adds to the frustration. If you’re looking to save your progress in Titan Quest 2 but don’t know how to, this is the guide for you.

How To Save Your Game in Titan Quest 2

As stated earlier, there’s no dedicated way to save your game in Titan Quest 2, but there is a way that acts quite similarly to a manual function. You can save your game by interacting with the waypoints in the game. These waypoints are spread all over the map.
Head over to any of the waypoints and interact with them to open the fast travel menu. Once you see the menu, the game will then auto-save, and you can freely head back into the world, assured that your progress has been saved.
Apart from manually forcing a save through the waypoints, Titan Quest 2 also has an auto-save feature that automatically saves your progress at routine intervals. In our experience, the auto-save has been mostly consistent, but we did lose quest progress in one instance. To avoid such instances, we do recommend seeking out waypoints whenever you can.
