5) Sons of The Forest
Sons of the Forest is an open-world horror survival game and is the sequel to The Forest. Developed by Endnight Games, the story follows you going to a remote island to evacuate a billionaire and his family, only for your helicopter to end up crashing and leaving you to your demise on a deadly island.
Not only do you have to fight local tribesmen, but there are horrific flesh monsters all over the island. To help you survive, the base-building feature allows you to cut down trees and chop each log to create your hideout. You can use many materials, such as rocks, leaves, and even the bones of your enemies, to craft tools and pieces of furniture. If you do not mind the monsters, the base-building makes this a game you should try out.

4) Satisfactory
If you like both automation and base-building, this is a must-try title for you. Satisfactory is an open-world survival game that highly focuses on the base-building aspect. You are sent to an unknown planet filled with wilderness and resources. Your only job is to use the resources to create factories and buildings to create even larger buildings.
To automate the process, you can use conveyor belts that carry different resources to various constructs for further processing. As you produce new items, you can send them back to your company in return for more blueprints. From mining coal and iron, you can eventually build nuclear reactors, powering hundreds of constructs.
3) Astroneer
Astroneer is an open-world game sandbox developed by System Era Softworks. In this game, you play as an astronaut who crashed into an unknown planet and must survive with your equipment. Collect resources from the wilderness and turn them into chemical compounds, which you can use to create buildings and equipment. Moreover, you have to research local plants and artifacts to gain research points, which unlock more blueprints.
As you slowly progress, new planets become accessible, which you can visit by creating space shuttles.
