You can unlock a mount in Towers of Aghasba by completing the ‘A Mount For Your Troubles’ quest in Midhaven.
The world of Aghasba is a desolate land that once thrived in prosperity. In Towers of Aghasba, your task is to restore these lands to their former glory. To do so, you have to travel to these beautiful yet punishing lands in search of resources to build settlements. This is easy in the early game as most resources are found in close proximity. Later on, however, it is quite a task, as you have to go further and further away in search of rarer resources. This is where a mount comes in handy, helping you traverse vast spaces of these lands in no time.
In this guide, we shall go over mounts in Towers of Aghasba and where to find them.
How To Get a Mount in Towers of Aghasba
You have to complete the ‘A Mount For Your Troubles’ quest to unlock a mount in Towers of Aghasba. You can access this quest by constructing the Lutoro Bridge to the Mainland. Cross the bridge and head straight down into the mainland to meet the Rancher in Midhaven.
A Mount For Your Troubles
The Rancher will introduce you to the Harelopes. These creatures follow him around, but he has no stables to take care of them. He then requests you to rebuild the Midhaven Stables in his stead, kicking off the ‘A Mount For Your Troubles’ quest.
You need 8x Wood and 6x Thatch to rebuild the stables. You can acquire Wood by chopping trees, while Thatch can be obtained from plants and bushes. Use the required resources to construct the Shimu Stables and head back to talk to the Rancher. The Rancher will be overwhelmed with joy, and will offer you one of his Harelopes as a reward.
The Harelope, named Chingo Bee, will be your companion in your quest to restore Aghasba. The creature can be summoned easily by just whistling. The Rancher will teach you how to summon her and will then get upset at the thought of losing his beloved Harelope. He will then ask you to leave before he changes his mind.
Summon Chingo Bee with a whistle, and the creature will come rushing. Interact with the Harelope to mount it and ride off into the sunset to complete the ‘A Mount For Your Troubles’ quest and unlock your mount.
