Octopath Traveler 2
Embark on a journey with eight different characters, spanning the vast world of Solistia. You can form a team of four by choosing from eight different party members. Each party member has their own backstory, which all ties together into the overall plot of the game. Octopath Traveler 2 is a step up from the first title, with a lot of QoL updates and better combat mechanics like the Latent Gauge.
Additionally, you do NOT need to play the first game to understand the second entry in the series. Both games stand separately from each other. Divinity: Original Sin 2
This game is developed and published by Larian Studios, the same studio behind the highly acclaimed Baldur’s Gate 3. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a sequel to the first title. However, you do not need to play the first game to jump into this one.
This makes it extremely welcoming to newcomers. Moreover, this game features co-op and PvP game modes for you to enjoy a multiplayer experience. Persona 5 Royal
