Quin69 uploaded a video on recent Pirate Software controversy and one of them got age-restricted and the other one was ad-restricted.
During his stream on January 31, 2025, Twitch streamer Quintin “Quin69” stated that his YouTube videos relating to Pirate Software might have been targeted due to the fact that one of them was age-restricted. The announcement follows another content creator, Jokerd, who disclosed that his film regarding the OnlyFangs drama had also been reported.
Twitch streamer Jokerd revealed on his stream on January 31, 2025, that YouTube had removed his video titled “Onlyfangs Biggest Fraud Has Been Exposed, And It’s Hilarious” for allegedly breaking its policy against harassment and cyberbullying. While streaming and playing WoW, Quin69’s viewers questioned him if his videos regarding the Pirate Software controversy that occurred a few weeks ago had also been reported.
The Twitch streamer interrupted the game and read some messages. They stated that two of the videos were ad-restricted and age-restricted. The messages were:
“I got replies from Gary, there’s eight replies even. No, just one reply. ‘I suspect some weird stuff happened with those videos because one of them has been age-restricted, which is really weird. And another one got ad-restricted. I think they got mass flag reported. It’s really weird that it got age-restricted. My suspicions are mass-report. And you should auto-restrict it. I tried to submit a manual review on the same day but it got rejected.'”
However, the Gary also pointed out that there was no DMCA claim. Therefore, it was most likely not Pirate Software’s fault that YouTube had flagged his video. He did have a suspicion, though, that it might have been the Pirate’s viewers or audience. Additionally, Pirate Software also denied the filing a DMCA. He said:
“Heyo, I didn’t file a DMCA here. This has nothing to do with me. That’s a community Guidelines strike, not a DMCA.”
Who Is Quin69?
Quin69 first played video games as a kid. He became addicted to games like RuneScape and Age of Empires II, thanks to his father, a computer specialist who liked gaming. Typically, he would play with his pals, some of whom work in the streaming business. In his late teens, he began playing World of Warcraft.
The streamer was employed as a meter reader before he started streaming his gameplay. However, he found the work extremely challenging because he was repeatedly bitten by dogs. Additionally, he was involved in an accident that damaged the company’s vehicle. He chose to try his hand at gaming as a source of income after losing his job in 2014. Moreover, he didn’t want to rely on unemployment insurance. He started out as a part-time skydiving instructor.
Thankfully, his choice paid off, and he has been streaming ever since, steadily growing his fan base. Currently, Quin69 has 908,102 followers on his Twitch channel. He has an average viewership of 9,363 viewers and has reached a peak viewer count of 19,039. Additionally, his YouTube channel has a total of 74.2K subscribers where he has uploaded a total of 206 videos garnering 13,913,413 views.
