Everything you need to know about Two Point Museum’s pre-order details, including platforms, editions, prices, and more.
SEGA’s upcoming strategy game, Two Point Museum, finally has a confirmed release date. While the game was announced back in early 2024, its release date was confirmed very recently. Developed by Two Point Studios, the upcoming title shares much in common with the studio’s past titles. Two Point Museum’s general gameplay and progression are very similar to those of Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, albeit with a different setting.
However, the setting isn’t the only differentiating factor here. The upcoming title is also Two Point Studios’ very first foray into current-gen systems. As such, the new title comes with vastly superior visuals, more complex simulations, and more.
Alongside the game’s official release date, SEGA also revealed a lot of other information regarding pre-orders, editions, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about Two Point Museum’s pre-orders, including details on its various editions, prices, and more.
Two Point Museum Release Date and Platforms
Two Point Museum is scheduled to be released on March 4, 2025. The latest title from Two Point Studios is coming to all current-gen platforms, i.e., PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. Furthermore, the game is also coming to macOS and Linux. Surprisingly, Two Point Museum is skipping the Nintendo Switch.
The previous two titles from Two Point Studios eventually got a Nintendo Switch re-release, complete with all the post-launch DLCs. As such, it’s quite possible that SEGA might release a Switch version at a later date. However, it’s also likely that the publisher is planning to release the game on Nintendo Switch 2 instead, and as such hasn’t announced a Switch port.
Furthermore, Two Point Museum also features an early access incentive for pre-ordering. Essentially, if you pre-order the Explorer Edition of the game, you will get access to the base game 5 days early (February 27, 2025).
Two Point Museum Editions and Prices
Much like the previous Two Point games from SEGA, Two Point Museum is offered in two different editions: Standard and Explorer. The Standard Edition, priced at $30, comes with the base game and the pre-order bonus. Meanwhile, the Explorer Edition is priced at $40 and comes with a few extra goodies on top of the Standard Edition content.
Additionally, as mentioned earlier, the Explorer Edition is the one to get if you want early access to the title. There’s also a pre-order bonus, which includes Sonic-themed items that can be used to decorate your museum. Here’s a rundown of the different editions of Two Point Museum:
