What Is True Vizard in Type Soul?
True Vizard is an advanced form that fuses Shinigami and Hollow abilities. It builds on the regular Vizard, offering:
- 3 powerful passive buffs (instead of 1)
- No stat penalties when your mask is off
- Extended mask duration
- Massive healing on activation
This makes True Vizard one of the most competitive PvP forms in the game.

How To Get True Vizard
1. Become a Vizard
- Be a Shinigami (Soul Reaper). Use a Soul Ticket if you’re not.
- Collect 10 Hogyoku Fragments from PvP, raids, KT shop, or trading.
- Use them at Elite Grade to start the Vizard quest.
- Defeat your Vizard NPC in Hueco Mundo.
- Complete the Mastery Quest (random):
- Win 10 raids with your mask on
- Defeat 60 Shinigami players
- Defeat your Shikai NPC 50–60 times
Once completed, you become a Mastered Vizard with improved buffs and mask time.
2. Evolve into True Vizard
- Obtain a True Hogyoku (rare drop from raids, bosses, or PvP)
- Use it while Vizard is active to become a True Vizard
- You now receive 3 buffs instead of 1 whenever masked
True Vizard Buff Variants
When you activate your mask as a True Vizard, you randomly gain 3 of the 5 possible buffs:
