Brand New Friends is the latest event which is taking place in Umamusume Pretty Derby, which lets you obtain tons of rewards.
Events are a regular part of Umamusume Pretty Derby. These limited-time events offer tons of incentives for completing various objectives. These range from participating in and winning races to enhancing your characters.
The latest event added to the free-to-play title is called Brand New Friends, which lets you claim event-exclusive Support Cards, Carats, Dream Glimmer, and many other exciting rewards. Here is a complete guide to the event.

Umamusume Pretty Derby: Brand New Friends Event Overview
The event introduces a story featuring Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond, and their meeting at Tracen Academy. You will need to collect Event Points to watch this story. Training your characters will allow you to obtain these Event Points. Using certain Umamusume and Support Cards will give you a bigger bonus.
There are eight total chapters in this story. The event will last until August 1, 2025 (9:59 PM UTC). However, you will be able to collect rewards until August 4, 2025.
The major rewards you can get from collecting Event Points are:
- Matikanetannhauser (Just Keep Going) Support Card (SSR) – 300,000 points
- Nice Nature (Messing Around) Support Card (SR) – 150,000 points
- Carats
- Support Card Scout Tickets
- Dream Glimmer
- Goddess Statues
