Should You Pull For the Curren Chan Banner in Umamusume Pretty Derby?
You should pull for Curren Chan if you are above Class 3 in Team Trials and struggle with putting together a winning Sprint team. While Curren Chan is an excellent sprinter, she is by no means a game-changer. Alternatively, if you like the character, her personality, and her story, pulling for her is worth it. The others have been shoehorned into their roles because of a lack of Sprint-dedicated umas. Additionally, Taiki Shuttle is more commonly used for Mile races, since most of her innate skills are geared towards it. If Silence Suzuka, Maruzensky, and Taiki Shuttle are used for their respective categories, Curren Chan is an obvious Sprint Pace Chaser while Sakura Bakushin O takes the spot of Front Runner.
If you haven’t used Legacies to increase the Sprint aptitude of other umas to include them in your Sprint team, Curren Chan may seem like a much-needed addition.
