Umamusume Pretty Derby involves constantly training and improving your racers, and a large part of how well they’ll perform depends on their Support Card usage. While you can pick and choose which cards to use, the only way to improve their efficiency is by using Support Points. Although earning and spending Support Points is pretty straightforward, new players might feel a bit lost at first.
So, in this guide, we’ll explore how you can farm Support Points in Umamusume Pretty Derby and how to spend them wisely.
How To Get Support Points in Umamusume Pretty Derby
Also known as SP, you get Support Points by completing Daily Missions. Although that isn’t the only method of earning them, it’s the most consistent. You can check the Daily Mission for the day by hitting the Special Mission button on the game’s main menu screen. Simply complete whatever the day’s mission asks within the 24-hour window.
Most of the goals for these missions are pretty simple, and you can complete them by just playing a bit of Career mode. Keep in mind that Daily Missions and Daily Races are not the same. The latter is used to farm Monies, while the Daily Mission will earn you SP.
Each Daily Mission should earn you 800 SP. However, if you manage to complete special or event Daily Missions, you could earn as much as 15,000 SP. So, keep an eye out for any such special missions and prioritize them whenever they appear.
Besides Daily Missions, you will also earn some SP after every Career Mode run. However, the exact amount varies based on how well you did during that run. Also, each new run in Career Mode opens up another way of earning SP. After you finish a run, your character from that run will become available for use when you begin a subsequent Career Mode playthrough.
You can either set them as a parent of your current racer to get Sparks, or you can transfer these older characters to earn some SP. Think of it as selling your veteran Umamusume in exchange for SP.

How To Use Support Points in Umamusume Pretty Derby
As we said, Support Points will help you level up your Support Cards. To do this, simply go to Enhance, then to the Support Card screen. You can select any of your Support Cards and start leveling them up. You can use either Monies or your collected SP to do this. However, you can only upgrade Support Cards to a certain cap unless you remove their limits manually.
To remove this cap, you have two options: either use duplicates of your Support Cards or gradually use Support Card Pieces. You will have to uncap a Support Card four times to truly max out its levels.
