Umamusume Pretty Derby is a racing sim. So, naturally, players will find several missions that are focused purely on racing. The Triple Crown Races are one of these challenges. They are quite difficult for newcomers due to the demanding stat requirements and the balance needed between them.

To consistently win the long and medium tracks in the Triple Crown Races, you will require speed, stamina, and a good understanding of the obstacles involved. There are four main events in this challenge: Classic, Senior Spring, Senior Autumn, and Triple Tiara. This guide will explain how to dominate each of them.

How To Win Classic Triple Crown Races in Umamusume Pretty Derby

The first set is the Classic Triple Crown Races, arguably the most popular of the bunch. To win, consider characters such as Mihono Bourbon, Symboli Rudolf, Biwa Hayahide, and Tokai Teio, as they are best suited for this competition. If these Umas are unavailable, you can pick any horse girl who specializes in long and medium tracks, including Gold Ship and T.M Opera.

The first race in the Classic Triple Crown Races is the Satsuki Sho. Focus on Speed and Stamina during your Junior Years. Reaching around 450 Speed and 300 Stamina should be enough for both the Satsuki Sho and the Japanese Derby, which follow closely. For the Kikuka Sho, a long track, you will need at least 500 Stamina. You will have time to train for it, and picking up endurance skills along the way will help.

The Senior Spring Triple Crown Races are likely the first achievement you will pursue after entering the senior year. These races are not too difficult if you trained well for the Classic Triple Crown. You will need to upgrade stamina for the medium and long tracks. A stamina level of around 400 or higher for medium races and 600 or higher for long races should suffice.

Since there is little time to train after Osaka Hai, you should prepare for Tenno Sho as soon as possible, as it is the only long track in this event. Afterward, focus on raising your Speed to 500 – 600 for the Takarazuka Kinen. Improving Medium aptitude is also helpful. Strong candidates for this event include Special Week, Mihono Bourbon, Tokai Teiko, and Symboli Rudolf.

The Senior Autumn Triple Crown Races are the toughest of all. They occur near the end of your career, so failure means restarting from the beginning. Since these races are held late in the game, the competition is tougher, and strong stats are required to keep up.

Since the Medium Track is the first obstacle in your way, focus on improving the speed of your Uma up to 700. Friendship Training becomes crucial here since max stats are required, and time is limited. You will have more time to prepare for the last race, the Arima Kinen, in late December. Aim for at least 600 Stamina. If your Uma is an End Closer or a Late Surger, 600 Power will also be necessary.

The Triple Tiara races take place at the same time as the Classic Triple Crown Races, but they are easier to win. They are designed for medium and mile races. Beginners who focus on Speed will have the best chance to win, as stamina is less of a concern here.

Daiwa Scarlet and Air Groove are the best choices for this event, as they already have the required aptitude and the Triple Tiara built into their career paths. Daiwa Scarlet is ready from the start, while Air Groove requires slight improvements to Mile aptitude.

As for stats, 450 Speed is good, but if you don’t want to take a risk, go for 500-600. Additionally, 300 stamina would be ideal for Mile races and 450 for Medium.
