Debuffer umamusume are equipped with debuff (red) skills to reduce the racing performance of other runners on a track. Debuffer builds only work when racing with other teammates, sacrificing their own placing ability to increase their teammates’ winning chances.

Debuffing builds are not favorable in Team Trials, where good positioning of all three teammates is required for a higher score. However, debuffers are perfect for the Champions Meet event, as its victory condition only requires one runner from your team to place first. Nice Nature offers the perfect canvas to craft a powerful debuffer build, and requires surprisingly few resources to do so.

Nice Nature is the ideal candidate to create a debuffer, as she has several powerful innate red skills. She makes for an ideal Stamina debuffer, especially for Medium and Long races, where the stat is most important. Because of her Late Surger running style, Nice Nature is well-positioned to activate several red skills that affect all the racers in front of her.

Stats

Speed StaminaPower GutsWit
550+ 400+ 600+200+900+

Investing in Wit is the most important part of Nice Nature’s training. Wit improves the chances of activating skills and provides SP (Skill Points) to buy more skills. Power needs to be decently high so that Nice Nature can keep up with the pack until the final corner and apply all her debuffs. All other stats should only be leveled up enough to complete the career successfully.

Support Card Loadout

  • R Symboli Rudolf (Wit)
  • SR Agnes Tachyon (Wit)
  • SR Aoi Kiryuin (Mood)
  • SSR Fine Motion (Wit)
  • SSR Rice Shower (Stamina)
  • SSR Kitasan Black (Speed)

Except for Kitasan Black, none of the Support Cards need to be leveled up at all. This is because we are primarily equipping them for their skill hints and events. SR Aoi Kiryuin provides a lot of SP with her dates, and SSR Kitasan Black is required to train Speed enough to beat the career.

If you don’t have some of the Support Cards mentioned above, here are some good alternatives:

  • SSR Satono Diamond (Stamina)
  • SR Marvelous Sunday (Wit)
  • SR Air Groove (Guts)

Skills

Your primary goal while training Nice Nature is to accumulate as many debuffing skills as possible. The most powerful ones are:

  • All-Seeing Eyes (Potential Level 5)
  • Mystifying Murmur (Potential Level 3)
  • Tether

Additionally, add in as many stamina-draining skills as possible, such as Subdued skills for each running style provided by R Symboli Rudolf. Skills that decrease speed in the late race are the next priority. Avoid Trick and Frenzied skills as they aren’t very impactful.
