This issue has been predominantly noticed by the community to happen after your account has been linked. When you open Pretty Derby for the first time, it asks you to link your account so that you do not lose your progress. This is to save your progress and data in case something goes wrong with your device.
However, some players have reported that they encountered this error code 102, which boots them out of the game. So, if you have not yet linked your account, perhaps hold off on doing so until this issue subsides. Although the error code was acknowledged by the developers and has been mostly fixed, it has still been seen occasionally.

Playing On Another Device
This problem seems to have been reported more by PC players, not mobile players. So, if you can download the application on your phone, then this issue might not be present. However, even if you do not have enough space on your phone to download the application, or simply do not want to, fear not.

Sometimes, this code might be shown while the servers are under maintenance. If this happens, the game will be inaccessible no matter what you try. Therefore, your best bet will be to wait it out. You can check the status of the game through the official X account of the game.
This error can even appear on mobile devices in this case. However, if no maintenance has been scheduled, you can proceed to the next steps.
Network Connection and Administrator
Since this is a network problem, the universal solution of either restarting your network or changing between Wi-fi and mobile data might fix it up. Although this isn’t guaranteed to be the cause of the problem.
