With the carats you earn or purchase in the game, you can perform a scout on this banner. You can also use any trainee scout tickets you collect over time. The rewards vary across a range of rarities — 1 star or higher. When you obtain a trainee Umamusume using this scout banner, you will also receive Umamusume Star Pieces in accordance with the trainee you get. Certain trainee Umamusume will also award you with bonus Star Pieces.
You can obtain these bonus Star Pieces using Trainee Exchange Points. Any of the new trainee Umamusume introduced in this banner will later feature in future Pretty Derby Scout banners.

Scout Rates
Every scout you perform increases the odds of receiving a better-starred character using a randomized algorithm. Single scouts use the same rate from the first to the ninth result of a 10x scout. The tenth result, however, is guaranteed to have a 2-star or higher trainee.
