The Racing Hearts Beauty in Bloom event brings with it a character Spotlight Scout featuring (Sunlight Bouquet) Mayano Top Gun and (Quercus Civilis) Air Groove. Also known as the Wedding Banner, this Spotlight Scout increases the drop rate of both characters, giving players a 0.75% chance each of pulling either. However, Carats are precious, and there are upcoming banners to save for, which raises questions about the prudence of investing in the Wedding Spotlight Scout.

By pulling on the Wedding Banner, you’ll have an increased chance of getting either (Sunlight Bouquet) Mayano Top Gun or (Quercus Civilis) Air Groove, 3-star versions of the original characters with a different spread of training bonuses and skills.
Should You Pull for Wedding Air Groove?
You should only pull for Wedding Air Groove if you like her as a character. Her stat bonuses aren’t ideal, and she has a unique skill that is difficult to activate. While Wedding Air Groove makes for a decent Mile runner, her suboptimal stats and skills aren’t worth the high Carat investment required to pull her.

The main performance issue with Wedding Air Groove is that her unique skill has a very low chance of activating. She needs to be between third and fifth place at a random point in the mid-race for the unique skill to trigger. This issue will be fixed with a future patch, and the skill will trigger as soon as her positioning condition is met in the mid-race.
Should You Pull for Wedding Mayano Top Gun
The wedding version of Mayano Top Gun is good to have for Medium and Long races, but not a must pull. She can be trained effectively for the upcoming Gemini Cup as a Front Runner, Pace Chaser, or End Closer. Her stat bonuses and skill set make her a powerful Medium or Long distance runner for Team Trials as well.
