V Rising was a huge survival RPG since its days in early access. However, the release of the Secret of Gloomrote expansion increased the boundaries of the title even more and added a lot of new resources. One of which was the Batteries. These are essentially electricity containers and are a key component of the Power Core recipe.

To gain access to Legendary Weapons in V Rising, players will need Power Cores and, by extension, Charged Batteries. But the process of getting a fully charged battery might prove to be difficult for some gamers. So, this article will walk you through it.

In your playthrough of V Rising, you will come across many batteries scattered throughout the game. Players have found this particular item in the northern part of the map more often. However, these batteries will be depleted, and to use them, you will have to charge them first. Once you are in the area, explore it fully, and you will find some depleted batteries in crates, chests, and drops from Robotic Enemies. But stockpiling batteries will still be a little time-consuming.

Now that you have some batteries, you will be able to charge them by using the Lightning Harvesters placed in various points in V Rising. To be more specific, all you really have to do is approach one of the Harvesters, interact with it, and choose the “Charge Battery” symbol. However, you will need ten depleted batteries to trigger this process, and in return, you will get ten charged batteries.

Once the process is complete, the Lightning Harvester will become overloaded and unusable for a temporary period of time. Specifically, one in-game day. Therefore, if you want to charge more than ten batteries at a time, then you will have to find different Lightning Harvesters near numerous points of interest. Players will be able to find four Lightning Harvesters in Thunderstrike Peak, and after that, we advise visiting Stormdrain Hills. You can also consider setting up a small base of operation in Gloomrot for convenience.
