The Warzone weapon tier list ranks all the weapons in the game from the best to the worst, helping players decide the right gun for the task.

The Warzone weapon tier list essentially ranks all the available firearms in the game. There are over 200 weapons in Warzone at the moment, and that’s without even taking into consideration the Melee weapons. Needless to say, with so many choices, inevitably players are bound to run into a pickle. Not all weapons perform equally, and with each subsequent patch, the meta tends to change rapidly.
Hence, for players, be it the newcomers or the veterans, in this article, we’ll list all the weapons in the game, ranking them from the best to the worst.
Warzone Weapon Tier List (July 2025)
In this Warzone weapon tier list, we will go through all the weapon classes except for the Melee category. These weapons are categorized into five distinct tiers based on how well they perform in the game currently. They are:
- S-Tier
- A-Tier
- B-Tier
- C-Tier
- D-Tier
Before we get into the tier list, here’s a brief overview of how to read the table below. Guns that are in the S-Tier are deemed the meta, or the best. Whereas weapons that have been assigned D-Tier are currently the least viable picks.
With that out of the way, here’s our Warzone weapon tier list for July 2025:

S-Tier Weapons in Warzone (July 2025)
The S-Tier weapons in Warzone are essentially the best guns in the game. We have selected them based on their current standing in the meta and how well they perform across various scenarios.
1. GPR 91

The absolute best weapon in Warzone right now is the GPR 91 Assault Rifle. Thanks to all the new buffs in Season 4 Reloaded, the weapon has finally outshone others in its league and has been able to claim the rank of the ultimate meta weapon. With a time to kill of 588 ms, the gun can take down enemies instantly. Its ease of use and low recoil make the GPR 91 in Warzone ideal for long-range as well as mid-range engagements.
So, if you are looking for a weapon to dominate your matches without fiddling too much with the attachments, you just can’t go wrong with the GPR 91.
2. SWAT 5.56

Next up on the Warzone weapon tier list is the SWAT 5.56. On its own, the gun isn’t that great. However, with the GRAU 5.56 Conversion Kit equipped, the Marksman Rifle transforms into a full-auto gun, behaving like an Assault Rifle. This transforms it into a force to be reckoned with.
Furthermore, thanks to the lower base recoil, the weapon can be used for long-range engagements without breaking a sweat. Simply equip an underbarrel attachment to manage the horizontal recoil, and taking on this behemoth will be a daunting task for your foes.
3. LC10

The LC10 is an SMG and is fairly new to the game. However, that hasn’t stopped it from being one of the best weapons in Warzone. The SMG has excellent range, which allows it to shine in medium-range combat as well. Although the weapon doesn’t have the best fire rate in its class, it makes up for it with high accuracy stats, ensuring players that their bullets don’t miss, even in full-auto mode.
If you tend to play the game aggressively or Resurgence is your go-to mode, the LC10 should be your ideal pick. You can be certain it won’t let you down.
4. TR2

Just like the GPR 91, the TR2 Marksman Rifle has also been able to join the meta thanks to the buffs in Season 4 Reloaded. It is a Marksman Rifle and is meant for mid-to-long-range engagements. Needless to say, it demolishes its competition in those scenarios.
However, the TR2 is not perfect right out of the box, and you must equip a few attachments, such as an Extended Mag, to ensure that you don’t run out of bullets in the middle of a gunfight. But the bullet velocity can be a bit of an issue if you are firing at a moving target over longer ranges. Fortunately, you can mitigate this with the Gain-Twist Barrel, making it the perfect Marksman Rifle.
5. C9

Despite the overwhelming number of updates since launch, the C9 has managed to maintain its spot among the meta weapons. The SMG does extremely well at close ranges. In fact, because of its decent damage profile, players can also use it in close-to-mid-range engagements and as a Sniper Support weapon.
If you’re someone who prefers playing Resurgence over Battle Royale, then it is the gun for you. Because of its impressive handling and mobility attributes, it allows you to play the game aggressively. On the other hand, if aggressive plays aren’t your cup of tea, fret not, as it can also be used for playing defensively. Either way, it won’t let you down.
6. Kilo 141

At first glance, the Kilo 141 doesn’t do anything extraordinary. However, it has one thing going for it that makes it well-deserving of the S-Tier ranking — exceptionally low recoil. This makes it one of the best Assault Rifles in the game for beginners. For players who are new to the game and are still learning the basics, it is highly recommended to start with the Kilo 141. It will allow you to learn the game without having to worry about how your weapon behaves.
The Kilo 141 will rain down fire when you point it at, almost eliminating the need to manually control its recoil. This allows newcomers to wield it effectively. Since it is an Assault Rifle, it is highly recommended for mid-range combat.
7. Ladra

Next up is the Ladra. It is an exceptional SMG for close-range engagements. What makes it so special is its fast fire rate, capable of eliminating enemies in only 560 ms at ranges up to 12 meters. So, if you are looking for a weapon to dominate any close-range engagements, this SMG is for you. But it isn’t perfect by default.
Its damage profile isn’t the best in its class, and this might make the weapon a bit challenging to use. Fortunately, it has a decent headshot multiplier, which increases the gun’s damage output to 32 per bullet. So, if players only go for headshots, they can further reduce the time-to-kill to 504 ms, making it one of the fastest-killing weapons in Warzone.
8. HDR

Next up on the Warzone weapon tier list is the HDR Sniper Rifle. It is a behemoth of a weapon with an infinite one-shot range. Needless to say, if you love sniping, you simply cannot go wrong with the HDR. Although it’s a bulky weapon that can slow you down, its one-shot capabilities are more than enough to justify picking it up.
That said, we suggest using it in Battle Royale only, as its handling and mobility stats aren’t the best. In fact, they may work against you in Resurgence modes. Hence, make sure to equip the right scope to take full advantage of its one-shot capabilities and eliminate your competition with ease.
9. KATT-AMR

The KATT-AMR is quite similar to the HDR. It is a hard-hitting Sniper Rifle with infinite range for one-shot kills. But it does a few things better than the HDR. It has better aim down sight speed and a faster fire rate. Hence, despite being a bolt-action Sniper Rifle, you can use it with ease in Resurgence as well.
It’s recommended to equip a few attachments to improve bullet velocity. Doing so will allow you to hit moving targets at longer distances without having to lead your aim by much.
10. FFAR 1

The final S-Tier weapon in our Warzone weapon tier list is the FFAR 1. Like the Kilo 141, the FFAR 1 is a beginner-friendly Assault Rifle, thanks to its low recoil. But that’s not all. The firearm also has a low time-to-kill, standing at only 512 ms at ranges up to 42 meters. Additionally, the FFAR 1’s fast time-to-kill, together with its low recoil, makes it one of the best guns in the game for medium-range engagements.
Equip an Extended Mag attachment, and you will be able to take on entire squads without a doubt.
