Confused about Events in Monster Hunter Wilds? This guide explains what Events are and how they impact your game progression

Monster Hunter Wilds features a host of missions, out of which Assignments represent the main campaign missions. Besides that, you can also take on a variety of side and optional quests, each with their own rewards. While all of these missions are available to players at all times once they are unlocked, Event missions are specialized quests that are timed.
In this guide, we’ll learn more about Events in Monster Hunter Wilds, including any of the present or future events revealed by Capcom.

Event missions are similar to every other optional quest in the game in some ways. You can talk to Alma to access the quest menu and choose from the available event quests to begin one. The only difference is that these quests are timed, meaning they are only available for limited periods. If you do not complete the quests before they expire, the rewards from that specific quest will become unavailable to you.
However, unlocking event quests is simple. You just have to meet their Hunter Rank requirements before you can choose and activate the specific quest. Typically, they do not have any additional requirements for you to achieve.
Rewards from event quests can include unique materials. You may also receive special tickets that you can use at Gemma’s smithy to craft special armors.
