Simply put, Skirmishes are small-scale battles that you can undertake in Dynasty Warriors Origins. You will come across them while traversing the isometric 3D map of the game, where they will be marked by a semi-transparent white cylinder. Skirmishes generally have the following properties:
- Usually comprised of various rebels like Bandits or Pirates.
- Mostly mobs, who are not very strong.
- They have two or three bosses or enemy officers.
- Skirmishes do not have any War Council or an extensive Battle Preparation phase.
Defeating the enemy officers is your easy ticket to winning Skirmishes. These battles typically only take a few minutes to complete and are a great way to try out new weapon builds or skills.
Why Should You Complete Skirmishes in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
Skirmishes have a lot of advantages in Dynasty Warriors Origins, including:
- You can farm Skill Points by taking part in Skirmishes.
- Skirmishes allow you to try out new weapons and builds.
- Peace of a region increases as you win Skirmishes. This in turn allows you to collect rewards from Waymarks.
- You often receive letters containing rewards from villagers and other admirers for liberating their region in a Skirmish.
- Taking part in battles also allows you to level up and get more Skill Points in the game.
Raising the peace of a region is one of your biggest targets in Dynasty Warriors Origins. As such, taking part in Skirmishes and winning them should be your priority as you keep playing the game. All the other advantages aside, it is a win-win scenario for you, since you get multiple rewards for a relatively low amount of effort in Dynasty Warriors Origins.
