There are four Chase Cards in the Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Island expansion pack, and here is what you need to know about them.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has released their new Mythical Island expansion, and collectors are already opening booster packs in the hope of getting all the cards. In any Trading Card Game (TCG), “Chase Cards” is a common term that you will come across. Essentially, these are the most desirable cards in the entire set.
For the original TCGs, Chase Cards are more than often denoted by their rarity and their value. In Pokemon TCG Pocket, cards with Golden Crown rarity are more often than not the Chase Cards for that particular expansion pack. The latest Mythical Island expansion has introduced 80 new cards in the game. Among them, there are four Chase Cards.
All Chase Cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Island Expansion
There are four Chase Cards in the Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Island expansion:
- Gold Crown Mew ex
- Immersive Celebi ex
- Alternate artwork Mew ex
- Alternate artwork Aerodactyl ex
Here are the drop-rates for each of these cards:

Both the Alternate Artwork cards mentioned here have a rainbow border, which is different from the conventional holographic border. Note that all of these cards also appear in their 1-crown alternate artwork variants, but those are not as sought after. As such, they are excluded from this list of Chase Cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Expansion pack.
