Rachel Hofstetter, widely known as Valkyrae, took to her X to post screenshots of her Instagram DMs with popular rap icon Snoop Dogg. The streamer praised him for his performance at The Game Awards 2024 and congratulated him for the Fortnite icon skin. She asked Snoop to be a guest on her podcast, Press ESC, which she co-hosts with Lisa ‘Alythuh. To which, the rapper responded with two emojis.

In the X post, Hofstetter claimed that she doesn’t know if the message is automated or not. Many X users also expressed confusion and found the entire situation hilarious. In the post, Valkyrae asked the rapper:

“Hey Snoop! First of all, your performance at The Game Awards was amazing! Also, congrats on your icon skin in Fortnite :). I know this is a long shot, but would you be interested in being a guest on my podcast @ Press ESC? It’s relatively new but we just started having guests, and the gaming community loves you, so I figured I would ask! We can promote the new songs and stuff as well :). Let me know what you think! We are based in LA, not sure if you’re based here as well.”

To which Snoop Dogg responded to with two emojis:

“😘🐾”

Valkyrae then posted the interaction on X with the caption:

“I think it’s an automated message, but how tf do I respond to this?😂”

Fans, also dumbfounded by the interaction, commented that it must be an automated message. Some fans also suggested Rae to take it as a yes and send him the details. The post currently has over 2.6M views and 68K likes on X.
