Discover the unique traits of the Wasp pet in Grow a Garden. Learn how to acquire this rare pet before the event ends.
June 7, 2025’s Friendship Update added the Wasp as a limited rare pet to Grow a Garden. It has a similar color pattern to the Bee but a larger model. And its facial expression is quite different, befitting its in-game traits. As a rare pet, players will have till the end of the ongoing Bizzy Bees event to get it if they don’t want to rely on trading later on.
This is a short and comprehensive guide about what the Wasp pet does in Grow a Garden, its traits, and information on how to acquire it for your garden.
Grow a Garden Wasp Pet: Traits
The developers added the Pollinated Mutation with the Bizzy Bees Event, along with many Bee-themed pets such as the Honey Bee that impart the mutation as their trait. The Wasp Pet is a sort of upgrade. On top of pollinating crops in your garden, it also reduces the cooldown of your other pets by occasionally stinging them.
Here is a detailed breakdown of the Wasp Pet’s traits:
- Every 30 minutes, it applies the Pollinated Mutation on one of the crops in your garden.
- Every 10 minutes, it uses its stinger on one of the other pets in the garden. This reduces the pet’s ability cooldown by 1 minute.
How To Get the Wasp Pet?
If you want to get a Wasp Pet in Grow a Garden, the only way is to hatch an Anti Bee Egg. You have a 55% chance of getting it every time you hatch one. The limited edition egg is not available at the normal pet shop on the map. There are two ways to get it:
- Get it as a reward from the Bizzy Bear Honey Crafters questline.
- Or you can spend Robux to buy it at the Limited Time Shop. One Anti Bee Egg costs 149 Robux.
The Bizzy Bear questline is the limited-time mechanic added to Grow a Garden in the Friendship Update, and is an extension of the Bizzy Bees event. The Bizzy Bear is a new NPC in the middle of the map. You can craft limited-time items if you talk to it by exchanging Honey and Pollinated Plants. One quest cycle has 30 unique recipes, each rewarding the player with a different item.
To get the Anti Bee Egg, you need to complete recipes numbered 5, 13, 22, and 29. Here is a breakdown of the cost:
- Recipe 5: 0.36 kg Pollinated Strawberry, 5 Honey
- Recipe 13: 3.6 kg Pollinated Nectarine, 13 Honey
- Recipe 22: 1.65 KG HoneyGlazed Rose, 28 Honey
- Recipe 29: 15.8 kg HoneyGlazed Beanstalk, 37 Honey (Completing this nets 2 Anti Bee Eggs)
Of course, there is a chance that you might get other pets after the Anti Bee Egg hatches, such as the Tarantula Hawk. If you are hunting for the Wasp Pet, getting multiple Anti Bee Eggs is the safer bet. Or you can always try trading it with another player. But beware of people trying to scam you out of your items or other pets.
