In Umamusume Pretty Derby, MLB is one of the most important features when it comes to Support Cards. MLB, or Max Limit Break, allows you to increase the maximum level cap of your Support Cards and level them up to unlock the best effects the cards have to offer.
Unfortunately, uncapping requires you to have multiple copies of a card, and some of the best cards can only be obtained from limited-time banners. Therefore, max limit breaking most cards is quite a difficult task for F2P (Free-to-Play) players.

How To MLB in Umamusume Pretty Derby
When it comes to uncapping cards, you will mostly uncap R-ranked and SR-ranked Support Cards. The reason is that SSR cards are very hard to come by, as they usually have less than a 1% chance of appearing in banner pulls. Moreover, you need four copies for MLB, which requires either a lot of microtransactions or immense luck.
To successfully get an MLB Support Card, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Enhance from the main menu.
- Click on Support Cards and proceed to Uncap.
- A pink horseshoe appears on the card you can successfully uncap.
- Proceed to uncap a card four times to obtain one MLB Support Card.
Uncapping a card does not use any type of resource in the game. Therefore, it is recommended to uncap your favorite cards whenever you get a duplicate. However, if you have extra cards even after max limit breaking, you can turn them into Cleats.
