Cursed Mannequins are creepy decorations that can move on their own in Stardew Valley. Here’s how you can obtain these.

In Stardew Valley, you inherit a farmhouse from your deceased grandfather, and you can decorate it with anything you want. One of the most unique decorations that you can obtain in Stardew Valley is the Cursed Mannequin. At first, this decoration can be used as a normal clothing stand. However, the decoration itself starts to behave rather spookily once you decide to keep it in your house.
This guide explains how to obtain and use the Cursed Mannequin in Stardew Valley.

Obtaining the Cursed Mannequin in Stardew Valley

The Cursed Mannequins are a very rare drop from the Haunted Skull enemies. You can find these floating skulls on random floors in the Mines. Moreover, these enemies usually appear in groups. The attack these Haunted Skulls have is a charge attack toward the player. Moreover, they behave like bats or serpents and tend to fly away from the player after hitting them.
We recommend using the sword to kill these monsters. Due to the range of the sword, it becomes the best choice against any flying creature. Once you kill a Haunted Skull, it has a 0.43% chance of dropping the Cursed Mannequin. Unfortunately, this is the only method of obtaining these in Stardew Valley, which makes it one of the rarest items you can get in the game.
Uses of Cursed Mannequin
If you put a Cursed Mannequin in your house, multiple things can happen once you decide to keep it:
- The Cursed Mannequin can change positions once you wake up. Moreover, it can switch the clothes on it with the ones you were wearing.
- If you rotate the mannequin or enter the room, a jumpscare can occur where it flies toward your screen.
- The mannequin can change the wallpaper of the room. Moreover, it violently shakes upon doing so.
With the Cursed Mannequin in your house, the chance of Stardew Valley becoming a horror game becomes low, but never zero.
