IShowSpeed is a family man off camera and spends time with his dad (Daddy Speed) and his brother brother Dian (often called Jamal).
YouTube streamer Darren “IShowSpeed” is one of the most popular content creators in the online scene right now. Having over 33 million subscribers, he is one of the most followed and sought-after creators in the world. Despite being pretty consistent, he still makes time for his personal life. When not streaming, IShowSpeed likes to spend time with his family. He is often seen with his father, Darren Watkins Sr. (aka Daddy Speed), who is also on YouTube and has over 420K subscribers. His half-brother Dian (often jokingly called Jamal) is also a regular presence in his life.
Those who follow Speed’s streams are familiar with his frequent wild antics, such as barking and jumping at random things. However, off-camera, he tends to be calmer, though he occasionally exhibits this behavior around others, especially fellow creators.
He is also a sports fan and revealed that he supports the Ohio State Football Team. Since 2022, he has also been a football watcher and is known to cheer for Manchester United in the Premier League. The streamer is also a vocal fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and owns a host of memorabilia associated with the Portuguese player.

Who Is IShowSpeed’s Family Members?
IShowSpeed is highly active on his streams and often features his family, including his father. His parents separated when he was younger, and it was his mother who raised him through his teenage years.
Speed’s father, Darren Watkins Sr., is also a YouTuber with over 429K subscribers. He primarily uploads vlogs and music. In September 2023, he released a song titled “I Show The Meat,” poking fun at his son’s infamous flashing incident. The video has over 8.7 million views. Watch it here:
Speed’s brother, Dian—whom Speed often jokingly refers to as Jamal—is an aspiring streamer who primarily streams on YouTube. He is also a familiar face on Speed’s streams.
IShowSpeed’s biological mother has made a few appearances on his streams but generally prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Her most notable involvement occurred when she berated Speed live on stream after he attempted to light a firework in his room.
Speed continues to collaborate with both his family members and other creators. Additionally, he is affiliated with PRIME Hydration, the popular hydration brand co-created by Logan Paul and JJ “KSI.”
