Kokou’s Wrath is a unique effect that occurs on Wakanda maps in Marvel Rivals. Let’s explore this effect in detail.
There are many unique mechanics in Marvel Rivals; some help teams, and some cause a little trouble. Each map has its own unique gimmick and delivers a new experience to players in every match. Tokyo 2099 has Spider-Bots that prevent some buildings from getting destroyed. Moreover, Hydra Charteris Base has the Transformation gimmick, which creates new paths and barriers around the map.
Similarly, the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda has the Intervention of the Orisha gimmick, during which Wakandan gods intervene in the battle with different effects. Kokou’s Wrath is one of the effects caused by these Wakandan gods and creates some extraordinary results on the battlefield.

What Is Kokou’s Wrath?
There are mainly three effects that take place on Wakadan maps: Thoth’s Wrath, Mujaji’s Wrath, and Kokou’s Wrath. Each of them is triggered by destroying specific parts of maps. Kokou’s Wrath is caused by destroying buildings and objects around the objective area of a map. After causing the destruction, players will face the wrath of Kokou, Wakanda’s God of War. During this effect, a number of circles appear on the ground that deal fire damage.
The effect can be problematic for the defenders’ strategists on the Hall of Djalia map. As the fire circles appear in the objective area, healers often stay there, backing up their tanks and duelists. On the other hand, attackers can use this effect to their advantage by deliberately destroying the environment to anger the gods and let the defenders face Kokou’s Wrath in Marvel Rivals.
