Singularity is one such ability from the game that allows you to dominate and get the better of a large group of enemies at once. How it works is simple. It gets a huge amount of hostiles at one spot and then executes an AoE burst. This way, you can eliminate a lot of threats at once. To get the most benefit out of this ability, you should use it before or during another high-damage attack.

This is a void-based ability, meaning it is best to use this with other void effects like Void Tendrils to get a good damage combo. Another great way to use this is when you have some other friends playing with you. In a co-op mode, this is much easier and effective when executed properly. Using Singularity properly, you can prevent enemies from flanking and taking you by surprise.

Compared to other elements, Singularity can prove much more useful in certain circumstances. Even though Ice can be a good pick too for slowing down enemies, it does not provide enough damage compared to Singularity. Similarly, Lightning can provide excellent damage, but it does not come with the ability to attract a lot of enemies to one spot like Singularity does.
