How to Get Unlimited Money in The Sims 4? Cheat Code Explained
Unlike other developers, EA encourages the usage of cheat codes in the Sims and provides a guide on how to use them as well.
How to Use Unlimited Money Cheat Codes
The cheat codes option is off by default, so you have to turn it on. Keep in mind that turning on the cheat codes will restrict players from collecting some of the trophies and achievements in the game.
First, you need to open the cheat console.
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- PlayStation: All Four Shoulder Buttons (L1 + L2 + R1 + R2)
- Xbox: All Four Shoulder Buttons (LB + LT + RB + RT)
Then, enter either “testingcheats true” or “testingcheats on”. Now, you will be able to enter the amount of Simoleons you need for your household in the following format: “money /amount/”. To get unlimited Simoleons, aka the maximum amount that the game offers, type “money 9999999″ in the cheat console.
You can also try these classic Sims cheat codes to get more Simoleons:
- “Kaching” – 1,000 Simoleons
- “Rosebud” – 1,000 Simoleons
- “Motherlode” – 50,000 Simoleons
You can turn cheats off by opening the cheat console and entering either “testingcheats off” or “testingcheats false”.
