The Pokemon GO Tour 2025: Unova – Global is all set to take place in just a few days. And now, Niantic has unveiled its Pokemon GO Tour Pass for trainers across the world. The Pokemon GO Tour Pass: What Is It?
It’s a free, limited-time system that tasks trainers with completing certain actions or goals in Pokemon GO. Doing these will reward them with Tour Points. You can use these Tour Points to unlock exciting new rewards and improve your ranks throughout the event. The Tour Pass becomes active on February 24, 2025, and you can keep earning rewards until the Pass ends on March 2. You can claim the rewards that you unlock by March 9, after which you will lose access to any unclaimed rewards forever.
How To Earn Tour Points
You can earn Tour Points in two ways. These are:
- Normal game activities: Activities such as catching a Pokemon or a Legendary Pokemon will grant you Tour Points—specifically 1 and 10 points, respectively. Similarly, if you hatch an egg, you will get 5 points for the action.
- Pass tasks: These are daily activities that you can complete on the same day to earn Tour Points. Keep in mind that these tasks will refresh daily, so you should complete them every day to maximize your Tour Point collection potential.
Pass tasks will be available between February 24 and February 28. Every day, you can complete Pass tasks from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. If you manage to unlock the final reward for the Tour Pass, you can experience an encounter with Zorua, which can be Shiny.
However, if you want to get all the rewards quicker, you can opt to buy the Tour Pass Deluxe. This paid version of the Tour Pass provides several benefits, including an immediate encounter with Victini, access to an in-game item called the Lucky Trinket, and access to all rewards tied to the standard Tour Pass. The Deluxe version of the Tour Pass is priced at $14.99. You can also unlock ten reward tiers immediately by purchasing an upgraded version of the Tour Pass Deluxe for $19.99.
