MrBeast’s awaited reality game show, Beast Games is set to premiere on December 19, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video.
On November 25, 2024, Prime Video dropped a trailer for MrBeast’s highly anticipated Beast Games. The show is set to release on December 19, 2024, on Amazon’s video platform, Amazon Prime Video. The 48-second teaser trailer featured high production quality, massive landscapes, and huge stages for the challenges. Beast Games features 1,000 participants competing for a $5,000,000 prize pool.
Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, took to X to showcase Guinness World Records broken during the filming of the show. This marks a significant expansion of the YouTube star’s brand into television.
Fans will be able to stream the first two episodes of Beast Games on December 19, 2024, with subsequent episodes released weekly. However, the high-production event has been under scrutiny for several controversies.
Controversies surrounding MrBeast’s Beast Games
MrBeast has been under fire since five unnamed Beast Games participants filed a class-action lawsuit against him and Amazon Studios. Before this YouTuber Rosanna Pansino released a video titled “MrBeast is GROSS (Beast Games)” where she shared private messages from an informant alleging “health concerns” and rigged games.
There have also been serious allegations related to the filming process. Reports surfaced claiming unsafe conditions during early rounds of the show. Contestants described insufficient food, medical care, and inadequate provisions for dietary needs. Some participants suffered injuries, though no severe cases have been confirmed.

To which MrBeast has replied addressing the allegations.
“We have tons of behind the scenes dropping when the show does to show how blown out of proportion these claims were. Just can’t release it now because it would spoil the games.“
If what Jimmy claims is true, netizens will have to wait for the behind-the-scenes footage to uncover the truth about the show. There has not been any mention of when these behind-the-scenes clips will be released.
