Jack Doherty was born on October 8, 2023, and is currently 21 years of age. The American YouTuber and Kick streamer started his career back in 2017 and is known for his daredevil stunts and pranks in water parks or trampoline parks. He is also known for doing various illegal things with his friends and being contacted by the police. He was born in Long Island, New York, but currently lives in Miami, Florida.
Jack Doherty created his first YouTube channel back in 2016 and uploaded his first-ever video titled “Marker Flip Twice in a Row!!!” on September 29. This video brought him his first 100 followers on his channel. Now his channel has a total of 15 million subscribers. He has since uploaded 1.9K videos that have accumulated a total of 5,947,124,715 views.
Some of Jack Doherty’s most popular videos include “I FLIPPED ALL OF THESE!!” “FLOOR IS LAVA CHALLENGE AT WALMART! (KICKED OUT)” and “SINGING “DESPACITO” ON THE WALMART INTERCOM! (KICKED OUT).” He is a devoted fan of the Paul brothers, and his content has a reflection of both Logan Paul and Jake Paul. Sometimes, his family also makes an appearance in his videos.
Controversies Surrounding Jack Doherty
Since 2017, Jack has uploaded a number of “Floor is Lava” challenge videos. He mostly shoots these videos in Walmart or Target and ends up being kicked out due to unruly behaviour. While his fans like to watch these videos, some have pointed out that it is quite rude. When he moved to Los Angeles, many found his behaviour to be disturbing, which resulted in a lot of criticism.
In 2023, Doherty did a live stream with Fousey and N3ON. During the stream, Doherty addressed Fousey as “beta,” due to which Fousey ended up throwing a water bottle at Jack. He did not stop there and went on to call Fousey out and said,
“You’re a little b**ch! He doesn’t even have his Kick money yet. You’re f*ck*ng… imagine being 33 years old and f**king.”
On January 7, 2024, Jack Doherty got banned on Kick due to women flashing themselves live on stream, without being censored. In March 2024, he was accused of being abusive towards his girlfriend McKinley Richardson as he was forcing her to pose for a thumbnail while she evidently looked distressed. In the video, Doherty says,
“Hey, just look at the camera real quick. It’s a good thumbnail. I’m kidding. I was kidding. But come on! For real. I’m kidding. You’re so pretty, though. McKinley, I’m so sorry. McKinley, I want to show them how hot you look when you cry. Look at how f**king hot you are right now. You’re an attractive bad… guys, I can’t leave her. She’s an 11 out of 10 when she cries. What the sh*t, you look puppy dog. I’m sorry. Are you okay? That’s a great thumbnail. Oh, my gosh!”
On October 5, 2024, Jack Doherty was driving his McLaren during a live stream on Kick. While driving, it was pouring heavily, and he was using his phone while driving. As he accelerated his car, he ran into a siderail of the highway. Though Jack and his cameraman Michael did survive, he received a lot of backlash for his reckless behaviour. Post this incident, he was permanently banned from the streaming platform Kick.
