The 2XKO Closed Beta is currently ongoing, and invitations are being sent out to interested fans. Currently, the game only has a small roster of playable characters. However, more champions are said to be coming as the game continues to develop.
You might be curious as to when the 2XKO Closed Beta ends. At the time of writing, Riot Games has yet to make an official statement on when the testing phase will end. The beta went online on September 9, 2025, with no confirmed end date.

How Long Will 2XKO Closed Beta Last?
The conclusion of the beta phase for 2XKO remains a mystery, as there are no official announcements yet. However, fans speculate that the beta may keep going until the day of release. With that said, players can continue playing the game until Riot Games officially makes an update on when the testing phase will end.
Invitations to join the 2XKO Closed Beta are also ongoing. If you registered, you will most likely receive your invitation soon. If not, every player invited gets to invite three more players to join them. This means you can ask your friends for an invitation link if they manage to snag one themselves.

When Is the Official Launch of 2XKO?
There is no official release date for 2XKO yet. However, Riot Games is planning to release the game sometime in 2025. If the beta goes well, we can expect the game to be released in a few months. Unlike most fighting games, this title will be free to play. However, there will be microtransactions included. Some playable champions will also need to be unlocked through in-game currency that you can earn through regular gameplay.

Who Are the Playable Characters?
For now, there are a total of nine playable characters or champions in the game. Three of these characters need to be unlocked using Champion Tokens or Credits. You can get 2 tokens by completing the tutorial. Credits, on the other hand, are in-game currency that you earn by playing matches.
Based on previous trailers and teasers, Katarina might also be one of the upcoming characters. However, there are no confirmations from Riot Games yet. As a live service title, more playable characters are expected to arrive in the future.
