The first half of Season 1 for Marvel Rivals is almost coming to a close, and players are eagerly waiting to dive into whatever is next for the game come February 21 when the second half begins.

Major Additions To Expect in the Second Half
The second half of the season will add a host of new characters and other stuff in the game. For instance, the Fantastic Four family will finally feel complete as The Thing and Human Torch are making their debut in Marvel Rivals. The Human Torch will only be the second duelist to make their way into the game, and he will be able to set his foes to flame as he flies around.
On the other hand, The Thing will be the first ever Vanguard that the developers add to the game since launch. His rock-like skin gives him the ability to absorb a lot of hits and still clobber his opponents mercilessly.
Besides that, the second half introduces three new Team Ups. The Thing and Wolverine can team up to unleash the Fastball Special Team-Up, similar to the Hulk-Wolverine Team-Up. Invisible Woman and Human Torch can also collab and unleash a powerful move. Apparently, The Thing can also be a part of this particular team-up. Lastly, Storm and Johnny Storm will have a new Team-Up ability that will release a giant fire tornado to devastate foes.
The Season 1 second half also promises the addition of a brand new map. The ‘Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park’ will be the final map based in New York. In it, you’ll have to deliver a payload inside the lair of Dracula, situated right in the heart of Central Park.
