Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was one of the best games of the year, and it was deservedly nominated for several awards at The Game Awards 2024. The game was released to widespread acclaim but was exclusive to the PlayStation 5. Now, the game is finally set to make its way to PC and will be available for purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on PC on January 23, 2025, as revealed by Square Enix via a PC announcement trailer at The Game Awards 2024.
What’s New in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC Port
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be launching on PC with a variety of features and settings. These include preset graphical tweaks for players who simply wish to jump in and custom graphical adjustments for those who wish to customize and optimize their experience to the last detail.
The game will also feature visual enhancements such as “refined lighting, improved environment detail, detailed textures,” and more. The already stellar visuals and performance can be tweaked further through the use and support of NVIDIA DLSS.
The Final Fantasy 7 PC port, naturally, will also feature mouse and keyboard support. The game will also feature extensive keybind customization, allowing you to adjust the controls for combat, exploration, and the mini-games individually. The developers have also suggested the use of the PS5 DualSense controller on PC for those who wish to have the same controls as the PS5 version of the game.

At these settings, the game will run at 1080p and 30 FPS with the Graphics Quality set to ‘Low.’ You will require the following specs to run the game at these settings:

- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 / Intel Arc 1580 / NVIDIA GeForce RRX 2060
- Memory: 16GB
