The teaser of T-1000 has revealed its release date in Mortal Kombat 1, along with some of its signature moves and a new Kameo fighter.

NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 1 has recently released a teaser of T-1000, the antagonist of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). The evil shapeshifting robot is the final guest character of the Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2, following the releases of Ghostface and Conan the Barbarian.
Robert Patrick, the American actor who originally portrayed T-1000 in the 1991 film, reprises his role and voices the character in Mortal Kombat 1. The teaser features a pre-fight intro voice line of T-1000 against Johnny Cage. Moreover, the teaser also reveals a glimpse of T-1000’s attacks and fatalities while also confirming its release date and the addition of a new Kameo fighter. T-1000 will debut on March 18 as early access for those who own Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns. It will be available for purchase on March 25 for all players.
Additionally, the teaser confirms that Madam Bo, a popular character from the Mortal Kombat franchise, will debut as a Kameo fighter. She will also be available on March 18, alongside T-1000, as a free content update for Khaos Reigns Expansion owners.

Mortal Kombat 1 Reveals a Glimpse of T-1000’s Fatality

T-1000’s movesets and actions closely resemble its portrayal from the original movie. The developers have done an excellent job of recreating the iconic fan-favorite villain character. It features its signature walk and attacking methods, including the blade and hook arms. Its frequent liquid metal blob transformation mid-fight adds authentic detailing and immersion to the character.
Much like every character announcement trailer, this one also features a glimpse of the Fatality, leaving players excited and in awe. The Fatality draws inspiration from the epic chase scene between Robert Patrick’s T-1000 and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator. It features a nod to the truck window-breaking sequence, followed by T-1000 shooting Johnny Cage with an SMG.
